Recently on 21 Jun 2015 International Yoga day was celebrated. For the first time UNICEF has accepted with mandate of 167 nations (Subject to correction) decided to celebrate 21 Jun as International Yoga day. This has created lot of curiosity for this ancient technique of keeping body and mind healthy. I am professionally trained Mediation practitioner since last more than 10 years. I get lot of questions from my followers on social media and my students and participants about YOGA and meditation. It is difficult to answer each individually hence I thought of writing a small article about the basic conceptual framework behind practice and science of YOGA. This is an attempt to put down the basics in a common man’s perspective. If we look at this as a research article one will find lots of gaps in this article. Kindly write to me for any questions.

Title of the paper: What is Color of Death? : Gandhi & Peace Journalism.

Abstract:
The recent incidences of frequent violence in all parts of the world – like Peshawar, Australia, Paris, Nigeria have left the world shocking. The events of these last few days in Paris also shocked the conscience of the world especially the west. A handful of gun toting terrorists killed more than a dozen people including cartoonists leaving the west in fear and introspection on what could be done to avoid such attacks in future. But consider the reviews on such incidents. When the people killed are from west there are immense shock waves across the world media including in India. This leads us to a question —is white the color of death? Do we underestimate the value of life lost if it belongs to a non- white? Why do we have to raise this provocative question? According to reports, about 2,000 people have been killed in the recent Boko Haram attacks on Baga Borno State. The insurgents invaded the town on Wednesday, January 7, and left bodies scattered in the streets, BBC reports. An official, Musa Alhaji Bukar told BBC that the terrorists had burnt down almost the entire town and that about 2,000 people had been killed in the attack. Honestly which TV channel or paper in our country discussed this or even highlighted this tragic news item in the form of ‘Breaking news?
How was the reporting of 26/11? How was it in India? How was it in world media?
It is here important to study and review how Gandhi had looked at reporting of incidences especially those of violence – how he responded what are his norms laid down for such journalistic approaches. In the present circumstance author has also attempted to make norms in today’s context. It is necessary at this stage what role media can play in Peace and development .when we 40 % of country’s population, what should be the focus?

Occupy Wall Street is a people powered movement that began on Sept. 17, 2011 in Liberty square is Manhattan’s Financial District and has spread to 100 cities in the United States & actions is over 1500 cities Globally..
Occupy Wall Street movement is fighting against the corrosive power of major banks and multinational corporations over the Democratic process & the role of Wall Street is creating an economic collapse that has caused the greatest recession is generations. The movement is inspired by popular uprising is Egypt and Tunisia & aims to expose how the richest 1% of people are writing the rules of an unfair global economy that is foreclosing on our future.
The decisions are powered by Consensus based on a tool known as people’s assembly In Forthcoming pages I have attempted to study this movement, its background, its impact on US & global economy. Further I have also attempted to analyze this movement politically through American as well as
European, and Global perspective. One thing that’s important about this movement is its wide participation across the American and European society and its impact. In the years to come no government will be able to ignore this. With US Presidential elections, round the corner in Nov.2012.This Movement has set the ball rolling.

SUMMARY.
Great Gandhian Leader ,Late Sushree Nirmala Deshpande has been awarded by Govt. of Pakistan, by country’s highest award-
“Sitar-e-Imtiaz”. What made Govt of Pakistan confer this award ? In the past she has not only worked in Pakistan but has transformed terrorists in Kashmir, dacoits of Chambal successfully.
As a student of Management ,working different organisations different countries, products, cultures & having closely associated with our late sister , I always wanted to find out what was techonolgy, technique behind these miracles ? Can the world after her sad demise inherit some methods for such situations which appears to be so much inflamable , and dangerous ?
Today every organisation ,nation , individual face such situations with more or less intensity. If this technique is implemented may be we will be able to pay a small tribute to her & will also take the mankind a step forward

With developmental programmes in full swing and with the new government aggressively promoting Make in India, India is poised for a fairly good growth rate (around 7-8 %) annual. However we have almost 60 % of population that is young and in working age group. We also have about 60% of the population that is still dependent on agriculture, the growth of which is stagnated. We have this growth rate more or less consistent for more than 7-8 years or so. However this has hardly has any effect on the development of agriculture, and the rural economy. It also has failed to generate employment for the young graduates and unemployment rate has been increasing. Manufacturing sector which is supposed to have created expected employment is also stagnating. Further out of the graduates passing out of higher educational institutes spread over the nation only 10 % are employable. On this background there is need to review our higher education seriously. In this paper the author emphasizes the need to integrate all the developmental programmes of the country with the higher education. We have massive developmental programmes taking place in transportation (Roads, Railways, Shipping, and Aviation). However there are hardly any efforts to integrate these developmental programmes with the education. Development programme in a nation like India where there is vast population of unemployed youth need to begin with man power planning first and not just by tendering and bidding. There is a need to have Gandhian approach in education – that is learning by doing. Only then we will have innovation and creativity in all the sectors of economy.
